ST2
JP forgot to mention Helena Bonham Carter (sp?) in the Burton-Depp mix.
Also, I did find it disturbing. I find a lot of things are disturbing since having Jack. I never in a million years would have felt uncomfortable watching a movie like that (the gor reminded me a bit of Kill Bill") before him. The death scenes literally made me quirm in my seat. I had to make myself sit still at times. That being said I still found it to be an excellent movie.
And to all you (3) fellow Bowie fans out there reading this, I am sure you will agree that Johnny Depp sounds JUST LIKE old school Bowie. I was amazed. I mentioned it to Kris as soon as Depp started singing and he agreed with me. I felt validated.

These are my friends...See how they glisten...
So Rachel, Kris and I went to see the Sweeney Todd this weekend. All I can say is WOW! The Tim Burton, Johnny Depp combo never disappoints. It may be the bloodiest movie I've ever seen, but it's oddly not really scary or disturbing. I think the music had a lot to do with that, and also the blood looked a lot like wax.
The music of Stephen Sondheim was incredible. It seems strange to me that I've never really listened to the music of a guy who has won an Academy Award, multiple Tony Awards (seven, more than any other composer), multiple Grammy Awards, and a Pulitzer. I mean the guy wrote the lyrics for West Side Story for craps sake! I know this sounds really lame but it really moved me.
Bottom line, this is an amazing movie and you should definitely do yourself a favor and go see it.
Valholla!

Same night, , 2nd post
I almost forgot to mention that Jack has taken a few steps. It really surprised me. He's so big I figured he would be a late walker. Instead I think he'll be a late talker. He babbles and parrots some--but he doesn't make a special effort to communicate verbally.
The End.

teeeeeeeeeeething
Oh for the love of God and all that is holy. Jack is working on teeth 3 - 8. He had his bottom 2 teeth at nearly 4 months and 1 of his bottom eye teeth a month or 2 ago. Now he has 4 on the bottom and nearly 4 on the top. He was screaming his lungs out tonight. Tylenol didn't help and I didn't want to give him Ibuprofen since his stomach is already jacked up from the teething. That, of course, leads to the diaper rash from the diarrhea. I gave him a few Teething Tabs. They are a gift from GOD. I never would have guessed they would have worked so much better and faster than "REAL" medicine. I'm stuck in a pharmaceutical world.
Everyone has adjusted well to the new house. We are almost done moving. The dogs are completely in love with one another. We need to put up a fence ASAP. They nearly pull me to the ground when I walk them. Anyone know someone that puts up privacy fences?
I guess that's
