June twenty two

Summer has treated us well. Between the fence, fire pit, Jack's kiddie pool and JP's new projector we have had (and plan on having more) fun. It's been nice to kick back on the porch and watch Jack play. He has stepped on 2 bees and now understands why I insist on wearing shoes--even though I don't like wearing them either.

Daycare has been fine and we have actually made better daycare friends. We have gone on a few "dates" with a little girl named Kay-Kay and we are planning on hanging out some with the Langfords soon.

Jean and I had our 5th anniversary. We booked a room at the new Embassy and Kris bought us tickets to Gogol Bordello. How cool is that?

I am still digging my new job and am finding life with less stress is great! I did not realize the stress I was under until I got away. I think the same goes for Dr.B. We both would have done this much sooner had we known better. I think we kept each other anchored-and that made it okay. I don't have the same responsibilities I had before...but in some ways I have more. It's just different. And fabulous.

JP has been a little stressed with his job lately. I think he is his worst critic and nothing is ever good enough. Even with the house-he is constantly looking at things to improve. It's exhausting to feel that way all the time. I think he may need a vacation.

On that note--cross your fingers for a trip to Florida. We need it.
