A boy, his dog, and a stick 2

Jack has learned to "play dead". That is actually kinda creepy so we call it "falling down". Daddy practiced too.

A dog, his boy and a stick (p/ Luke)

Jack turned a stick in to a "fire gun". We shot a tree that made him mad, the moon and daddy. Jack also snuck up on a bird. At least he thought he did. Murphy gave us a great Elvis impression and Jack practiced jumping off of the fire pit in his super-cool monster boots.

Next weekend" Jack's room

My friend Kelly painted this for Jack when he was born. JP came up with the idea of painting Jack's ENTIRE room to look just like the painting. We can even buy a bunch of pipe cleaners for stars...I think it's a cool idea. Now to kidnap Kelly for her painting-tips---she IS the original arteest.

Budget and a paint pen

I have wanted a chandelier decal for my living room for a while now--and seeing as how I am not going to have a spare $60 bucks for a sticker anytime soon I decided to paint one myself. After I found a pic I liked online I freehanded it on tu my wall with a colored pencil and then "paint penned" it. I found you cant really see a difference between paint-pen and paint when used on dry-wall.

Kitteh-litteh in yo aye

Soooooooooo

A friend of mine (I asked her permission to blog this because I actually like her) was cleaning out her cat box this week and a piece of kitty litter got stuck in her eye. Eww, right? To make matters worse it melted. A nice yellow mush. She ran to the bathroom and started cleaning it. She used hot water, cold water, luke-warm water--EVERYTHING. It did result in a scratch that was bothersome but not bad enough to go to the doctor or ER.
This friend happens to work for a doc and mentioned it to him in passing the following day. As it turns out--she has to see an Opth. on Thursday. He told her that she needed to wait a full week to see if parasites incubated. PARASITES!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!
So she's doing well and she will see opth (you better keep the appt) on Thursday. So more information to follow.

The moral f th story: make your husband clean the litter box.
