scratch that

got the call. it's going to be awesome. more news to come.

just like always

I have a million things running around in my brain and I can't think of a thing to write now that I have sat down to write.

Ummm..... daycare has sucked this week. It happens.
Jack has for sure become a 2 year old, in case there has been any doubt.
Zaelyn is the sweetest baby girl and I LOVE to see her and hold her!
I have been waiting for a phone call regarding some work stuff that has not yet come through and does not appear to be coming soon.

Ummm....it's raining so hard right now that I think the window might shatter. This would be my third household to do so secondary to hail...not to be confused with Hale-as in Denali.

My teeth hurt from grinding them and I need to watch Twilight. I'm not sure why one reminded me of the other.

The Ben Folds concert is Tuesday night and I have yet to recruit a sitter. I need to hunt down some grandparents. I also need a day off--but that clearly won't be on Tuesday since we are already understaffed.

Sorry, for the rambling. I thought the b-log needed an update and this is as up-to-date as I can be for the moment. I am off to clear out a closet in case we need to hide from them-there twisters.

Peace out.

how odd

It has been a horrible week and a fantastic week.
To start with Lucy (the saint) attacked another dog. This time someone BESIDES me and JP witnessed it. This is a good thing. We needed someone else to say "enough is enough" and help us do what was right. So now Lucy is in a better place where she knows how to romp with dogs and not try to kill them. Better that we got her than someone who would have been cruel to her.

Then there's the job interview. I had 2 interviews with a few surgeons and didn't get the job. I am okay with that. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted the position but I know the girl that took it and I am happy for her. For real. I am. It's still frustrating to be back at square one. Admin at my job has been so amazingly helpful with all this. Dr. B feels guilty for leaving. Yes, this would not have come up had she stayed on--but she needs to move on for her and her family and I do too.
I was planning on school again. When I got the interviews for surgery I put those plans on hold. By NOT getting the job, could this be a sign that I need to hurry up and schedule my classes? Is this a sign to COMPLETELY turn our world up side down and move to...Alaska? Okay, maybe not.

My best best best best friend ever had a baby today! I welcome Zaelyn Autumn Waldron to the world! She is beautiful and looks so much like her mother. Merissa did a beautiful job and her wonderful husband was by her side a calm all the way there. They already have a daughter named Adrien--she is 9. She was so excited about her baby sister. It was a GREAT afternoon and I am so so glad that I was there! I love you Waldrons!

I'm going to wrap this up. Be thankful for what you have and love each other!

Don't call me a hippy!

updates via pictures

2 !?!

Jack is now a 2 year old. There is evidence of this in that he will tell you his age and hold up fingers (not always the correct number) and Jean is now calling him "two-two".

We had a very small birthday party for him--that was mostly family. I will add a slide show in a few minutes.

Sorry I have not blogged recently. JP wants to switch to the website and I have not taken the time to learn how to do it yet-my bad. It is also evident that is there is going to be any blogging it will be me to do it.

Oh-and my job is changing and I am going back to school to get in to Radiology. More on that later...

On to pics!
